CF-29: DDR2 types & compatibility

So, later models of the CF-29 use DDR2. From what I can gather, they all specify PC2-3200 (400MHz). My question is, have any of these been demonstrated to work with PC2-4200 (533MHz) or faster? DDR2 at 400MHz seems to be uncommon, and getting more so. If I need to replace the SO-DIMM at some point, ...

Fujitsu Lifebook T4020 (or, "I Hate Tablet Software Issues")

The following would have been a rant targeted at Fujitsu, but then I realized my problems are endemic to all tablet-PC users. I'm not going to buy a CF-18 to fix this, because it's quite likely going to experience the same (software-related) problems. Let's get right down to it - setting up an OS (W...

Re: Getting the most out of your Router

I like DDWRT... I never got into it 100% though (only like 80%) only because even with this software on these routers, they still can't do what I need them to do... VPN concentrators, VLAN's, VLAN trunking, etc... A VPN concentrator probably needs a fair amount more processing power (especially for...

Re: Mk2/Mk3 - looking for service manuals

Yeah, those service manual CDs on eBay looked to be nothing more than the info already available. I think one of them had a good enough picture that I could recognize it (a printed copy of the manual) as the mk1 manual that everyone already has. Sad face. :(

Mk2/Mk3 - looking for service manuals

At Rob's suggestion, I am re-posting this from the NBR forum. ----- Are there service manuals available for the CF-28 mk2 and mk3? I know this question has been asked several times, but the only answer anyone ever gives is, in essence, "The mk1 service manual is good enough." They may be g...

Re: New Dell

I think the Adamo is a neat-looking little guy, just like the MacBook Air... but despite the "cool" I doubt I'd buy one, even if the battery was user-replaceable. By the way... "Adamo" ?! Is this laptop intended to be a stunt double for Edward James Olmos? Since the XFR was menti...

Why use a CF-M34?

I've never seen one in person, and so I'm trying to understand. The M34 looks like it's comparable (in terms of durability and processing power) to a CF-71 or early CF-72.

The M34 seems to be one of the more popular Pentium 3 models. Why? Are they especially small/lightweight?
