One of my ut-mb5's is a pre-production unit and only has 4gb ram. I want to upgrade it to 8 or more does anyone know why that might not work?

Re: The Ultimate Business Rugged: Toughbook vs Toughpad

Somehow technology moves faster than me. It takes me years to catch up. When I do I am usually amazed. After trying for years to find a device to do phone/mp3/email I gave up and then Iphones came out and it took me years to become a believer again. Anyway, I am a Panasonic man and have yet to find ...

The Ultimate Business Rugged: Toughbook vs Toughpad

I currently use a i5 cf-ax2 as my business rugged laptop. For first year I had it was an expensive paper weight, it only had 128 gb hard drive that I bought as an ipad replacement for $1600. Once I learned that I could replace the hd I went and bought a Samsung Evo 1 tb performance ssd drive and the...

Re: 20" 4k Toughpad review?

The more I use it the more I like it. In fact even though I have some awesome toughbooks, I feel the 4k has rendered them obsolete. I havent used them in a week of having the 4k toughpad except once and when I did it felt archaic. In the last 15 years I have had toughbooks, never has panasonic been ...

Re: 20" 4k Toughpad review?

Nevermind, its mSata. I checked the hard drive model number inside the machine.

Just ordered a 1 TB mSata Samsung Evo for the tablet. I replaced one in my AX2, I hope it works the same in my Toughpads.

Re: 20" 4k Toughpad review?

Holy crap....that was a steal I don't know, I wish it was I just bought a second one for $2600 but it was an early production model with 4GB ram and 128GB hd and 600 hours on it. They are worth $2500 in my book but $5-6k is to much but I haven't seen a better screen on any other device. The images ...
