I've done a bet progress on Cf-18 gps by using the patch antena at the top fo Lcd. The result is much better than the pocket where the OEM antena located. I just need some finishing or maybe replacing the cover of the antena. It just happened the antena cover came from the body of my mastercraft too...

Just swap the module and load the driver for gobi and your set. Gobi module is design for both cdma or hspda. If it doesn't recognized just use trial and error by playing the deep switches. It will not harm the system.
