All T series model are touchscreen. I just bought recently a T2 as give away laptop for my cousin. It is still on the mail. Let see what it looks like. Its a 1.2ghz, touchscreen with 80gigHdd on it, paid only 130buck.

Sure it works! But my only conern on this is that you will loose the foam absortion on both end of the caddy.

Yup! you can go ahead and swap it. They are all swappable as long as TS to TS, digtizer to digitizer even the TS of cf-18 can be use on CF-19 TS. BTW, based on your post the TS can be calibrated without an error. It means, there is no problem on your TS. Its probably something between the bezel that...

Probably Alex is right! as my comment above is only my observation. But theoritically he is right. As this area of the LCD is one always handling the pressure from folding close and often. Rob... thats why my cf-19 is on ebay now! Lol edit: I also notice the dif..nce between the cf-19 and cf-18 lcd ...

As I have seen and inspected it is a manufac..ing defect on the first series of cf-19 (MK1) and probably seen by quality control inspector and clear out the next to present series. I have one bezel with a crack shattered screen and see in the inside and it has same stage but as hard it can't be coz ...

Heres the best solution. Change the handle with one from cf-27. I do beleived they have the same mounting holes for screws. The cf-27 handle has an O ring for strap at it base.
