Re: CF-31SBLAX1M

Thanks mate, I couldn't get into that (I think my PiHole is blocking more than it needs to).

CF-31SBLAX1M

I want to upgrade my CF-31 a bit. It is a CF-31SBLAX1M. I'm looking at maximising SSD and RAM but I am aware there are 3 different types of RAM that will fit the CF-31 so I would like to know what Mark mine is so I ca get the maximum and correct RAM for it.

Re: Debian 12 (Bookworm) has been released.

I am wondering if anyone has tried to install Linux along side W11. I have seen this on the MX forum: MS would not do anything to restrict/disallow other operating systems from being installed and running on the same computer, would they? Must just be a glitch. I am sure MS will deploy a fix/patch....

Re: Debian 12 (Bookworm) has been released.

I usually try an upgrade on 1 machine to see if it is manageable otherwise it is a clean install. I have 1 web server and it will be a clean install though.

Debian 12 (Bookworm) has been released.

If it wasn't for YouTube I wouldn't have known that Debian 12 Bookworm has been released. I'll try it out on some machines in the coming weeks. x86 appears to only be available as a netinst (small installer that downloads packages as required after booting) which is fine if you have a decent interne...

Re: Very rare CF-33

It will be part of the tablet as the 33 has the detachable keyboard. So take the keyboard off and look around the edge of the screen for covers or ports that would cover the ssd carrier. I shouldn;t have to say this but only remove the ssd when the machine is turned off.

Re: What is the model of CF-33?

It is really strange that nobody know about this model. Yesterday when I looked at your post you had 9 photos in your link. None of which had the model code. Now you have alot more and the model code is shown. What you are looking at is a CF-VEK331LM (keyboard) and a CF-33AF632VM (tablet). The pict...

Re: Windows 11 on CF-31 MK4

I agree with ADOR. I'd get a new SSD and ghost the Win 10 image on in then update to Win 11. Doing this will help keep alot of your Win 10 personalisations.

Re: Android X86

I don't like emulation unless it is absolutely required. I even run a separate partition of FreeDOS rather than emulate it. Thanks for the links I'll check them all out. Even though Android is based on Linux I'm going to have to research this to get it to work. After reading BlissOS documentation on...

Re: Android X86

Installed BlissOS 11 64 bit last night marginally better than the old Android X86. Problems so far: - doesn't see wifi although you can manually put in wifi details and, unlike Android X86, it will remember them. This maybe a driver issue. - touchscreen does not work. Can touch the screen but sensit...
