Panasonic says it's upgradable to 8 GB though, and the Intel Broadwell chipset supports 16 GB, but is this simply adding (light voltage DDR3L) SO-Dimms? or am I mistaken?

Youri, I would post the full spex. Per our chat last week you told me it has only 4GB of RAM which is ODD for a later mark G1.
