Re: Itching for change... Thoughts?
integrated video in i5-540UM is Intel HD Graphics (IronLake 45nm) Core @ 166-500Mhz, up to 1720MB DVMT (probably with 3GB+ of ram). it should support even 2048x1536 over VGA. Re: Itching for change... Thoughts?
that low res might have something to do with the 1280x1024 max external output, as listed in the specs, on the fully-rugged line.
there was a thread over on NBR about that.

Re: Itching for change... Thoughts?

I'm a bit unsure about the port configuration: having the SmartCard option means it no longer has the ExpressCard slot, only PC Card ? is that replaceable ?
How's your new CF-19 doing ?

Re: Wifi Bluetooth combo
I always swap up Ubuntu on newer installs. I HATE the UNITY interface!!!! Thankfully it's a decision they made that I don't have to live with. Why not install a different flavor from the beginning ? - Xubuntu (XFCE), Kubuntu (KDE), Lubuntu (LXDE). http://www.ubuntu.com/project/about-ubuntu/derivati...
