Re: some new to me cf-51's

You can also upgrade the processors I believe. T7600 is the fastest processor, though there have been reports of heat issues from some people that have done this. I've also had no problems upgrading the wireless to N with Intel wireless cards. People have successfully installed SSDs using a Minerva ...

Re: CF-52 MK II no power

Sadlmkr - I hadn't thought of the jacks, I'll have to check that out. As far as I can tell the area around the bios/wireless is dry and shows no sign of being wet. Thanks for the well wishes, these things happen. I'm really attached to the form of the CF-52, it works better than any other laptop I'v...

Re: CF-52 MK II no power

You wouldn't think so, but that's the only thing I can come up with. If no one else has any ideas then I'll pop everything in a bag of rice for three days and see if that helps. If that doesn't do it then I'll declare the motherboard dead. It certainly doesn't sound like replacing a fuse is an optio...

CF-52 MK II no power

The model is CF-52GCMBXAM. I spilled about 1 teaspoon of tea (a splash out of the cup) on the laptop when it was closed but on while it was leaning handle up on a table leg next to me. As far as I can tell no tea got inside, but it won't power on at all. No liquid was anywhere near the power plug as...

Re: Snow throwers?

What I was told by the Cub Cadet dealer about gas was to use the Briggs & Stratton gas additive and then whatever gas was treated with it should be good to go for I want to say a year...? I have no idea of how accurate this is, but I do believe this guy knew what he was talking about. I certainl...

Re: Snow throwers?

Rob, I got a Cub Cadet model 1X 221LHP last year and it is amazing! The ability to adjust the chute with levers on the handle rocks.
