PS: That CF-53 sure is a great travel notebook, I tend to be rough on anything I take on trips and it handles it without a hitch... And holy heck have Intel Integrated Graphics gotten better! Makes me very happy to have finally upgraded.

I was judging based on generic ram prices online, should've known better, Panasonic stuff is always a bit more pricey but there's a reason, hehe.

Still, I'll honor this for 48 hours since I said it.

This is a working pull stick from my personal CF-53 (running great by the way, thanks Rob and Rugged Depot!). I replaced it with an experimental 2x8GB upgrade, and it worked, so I am now sporting 16GBs of ram! Woo! Anyhow, it's up for grabs. Sold the other one on the bay. If you want genuine Panason...

Customer specified firewire was needed, so I tacked that on, may have just seen it as easier than making a completely custom model to swap in a different model, I can't complain.

You'd better not, because I think I'd sooner pay a bit more than send this thing back... It's nice! And it's already got my fingerprints all over it...

I got a custom CF-53JSL731M.

No Rob, I have my original sales receipt here, and I'm pretty sure it specifies a 2nd gen Core i5 and a non-touchscreen, unless the printer developed a mind of it's own.

I'm not complaining in the least, mind you.

Woah, Rob, did you pull some strings for me? Much to my amazement, this has a 3rd gen processor rather than 2nd, and a TOUCHSCREEN!

I won't lie, this still stings a bit, but that made it sting a lot less! Thanks!

I have to confess, I've decided to keep this, and yes, it's arriving today according to the tracking. Been watching the tracking info like a hawk, lol.
