Re: REFURB CF-52
Just wondering how they put a ryzen 7 processor from 2023 into a 2008-9 CF-52. Doesn’t sound correct.

Re: Cf-53 boot
Let it charge for a while, pull HDD. Power on and when Panasonic logo appears on screen start hitting F2 to get in bios. If no Panasonic logo appears, could be bad news. I don’t know if cmos battery will charge.

Re: Audio Driver for CF-29
There’s a big silver arrow pointing down on the top of the page. That’s where some downloads are. Check the CF-29 folder, there’s one for audio driver. Hope that helps. I just reinstalled XP on my Mk5. I got a DVD from Panasonic. I posted about it in General Toughbook Talk, “Panasonic recovery disks”

Re: F110 G3 + Win7
I don't know if this helps, I have a CF-54 that I installed windows 7 on. There are no USB 2.0, only 3.0. I removed the drive, then with another pc, copied the setup dvd to a small 4gb partition, reinstalled the drive and the setup started on boot. Then I was able to install the proper Panasonic dri...

Re: CF-20 vs CF-33 VS CF-19 for PicoScope usage?
I have a CF-20 I use daily (nothing very demanding, Marine diagnostic software) and I really like it for its light weight (I have a cf-19 mk8), I like the better screen resolution, I think I like the keyboard better. I've been thinking about getting a CF-33 (have my eye on one that is on eBay for ab...

Panasonic Recovery Discs
I decided I wanted to restore my CF-29 Mk5 to Windows XP. It didn't go to well, wouldn't install from an official Microsoft disc. I looked around and couldn't find anybody selling any so I called Panasonic (888) 808-4835 and asked if I could still get a recovery disc. They had to check and called me...

Screen illumination
CF-54D4442KM I installed Windows 7 on this model and everything works great. It’s a Mk2 so I was able to download the one click bundle for Windows 7. The fun part was installing 7. Anyway, like I said everything works good. All drivers installed. When I boot, screen illumination is always at half. I...
