Re: New here with a CF-30

Welcome to the forum. New here myself so can tell you these guys are very helpful. They might not convince you to retire the 29 but in time you might end up with dual mounts in the truck.

Re: New experiment for me.

Have a deal in the works too for a 74 and a 19 caddy for parts and restore disc. Ought to be interesting to see the difference between what a restore disc and what I have dug up on my own is. Looking forward to it.

Re: Boot a 73 mk1 from usb?

Was actually hoping there might have been some form of update. I've used older plop before. Others as well, but if I'm gonna end up bootin from cd then I'll just go pup and run from ram ect. Now it's just trying to decide if these 73's are really worth the effort for myself. 1.5 gb ramm and 1.4 ghz ...

Re: New experiment for me.

Well dunno about a big box of caddies but it looks like I can find 10 of the 19's out of an original 30 , 5 of the 74's that have NOT been DE-milled the HARD-WAY. That I can let find new homes. The hard way is a spike driven thru the carrier HDD and all crushed. I'll try to post a pic of what we cal...
