Re: Calibration deja-vu

Ugh! I knew it must have been something stupid! Thanks to Sadlmkr for pointing me in the right direction. The bios setting was set to touchscreen instead of auto. I changed it back and boom! The correct drivers auto-installed and both of the above problems fixed themselves. I spent hours last night ...

Re: Calibration deja-vu

That's the one in control panel? I've tried that, it just seems to be identical to the Fujitsu one and gives the same result :(

Calibration deja-vu

Hi, I'm wondering if someone can help me out here. I've done this process 3 times now and each time I've managed to work it out but for some reason this time it's got me beat! CF-19 Mark 4 running Windows 7. The touchscreen works with finger and pen but the calibration is off. I've been through the ...

2x CF-18 Toughbooks for Sale (UK)

I have 2 CF-18s for sale, both in working order. First is a CF-18KHH64BE and comes with 1.5GB ram and a 60GB Hard Drive. This is in perfect working order and apart from 2 or 3 dents underneath, it's in really good condition and the lid is virtually unmarked. All port covers are present, battery last...

Re: Another new owner with questions :)

Wow, that's a crazy price lol. Yeah the one I was looking at is rubber and I've since found others for as cheap as £39... I'm assuming that the rubber ones are pretty useless for typing with then? :(

Re: Another new owner with questions :)

There's a backlit one on ebay just now for something like £75 if I remember correctly so that one sounds like a bargain?
I just installed win 8.1 and played around with drivers from a mark 6 and 7. I'd love a recovery disk though, how do I go about getting one?

Re: Another new owner with questions :)

Just a wee update, I'm currently logged in on the new CF-19! I've upgraded the ram to 4GB, fitted a 128GB SSD and installed Windows 8.1 and I absolutely love it :) Minor problems are that the touchscreen is pretty flakey to use with your finger although it works perfectly with the pen. I also have 2...

Re: Another new owner with questions :)

Ok I've just bit the bullet and purchased a pretty much mint mk3 CF-19. This incidentally comes with a free CF-18 lol so I'll now have 3x 10" Toughbooks! I'll just put the 18s on ebay and concentrate on the 19 :)
