CF-20 for Towing?

Hey everybody! So a week or two ago, I got my hands on a CF-20, full model number is CF-20A0199KM, keyboard dock is CF-VEK201LM. Currently equipped with dual batteries, one in the tablet, one in the keyboard. About 30-40% wear on each. Recently upgraded with a Sierra Wireless EM7355, I do have an ex...

Sierra Wireless EM7355

Hey y’all, Got my hands on a CF-20 from my favorite PC recycler last week, I decided to upgrade it with 4G and GPS. I found a decent price on a Sierra Wireless EM7355 off of eBay, , only problem is that it’s a set of two cards. I only need one, anybody need one? They’re both Panasonic branded, the o...

Re: Addition of EM7455 into FZ-G1 without factory installed WWAN

Usually Panasonic is good about providing all the connectors and wiring to accommodate upgrades, such as the WWAN module you want to put in, they've shown that on the CF-19 series. Like the RF switch board you mentioned, it's there for upgrades or factory installed stuff. Pretty much every CF-19 out...

Re: "New" Full Ruggedized Notebook or Tablet: Currently CF-31. Somewhat better with USB3 and support of large hard drive

My theory on the XGA resolution still being around is that it makes it easier to use with gloves on, probably wrong though. If you're looking for a tablet toughbook, maybe look for a Toughpad FZ-G1. It has native USB3 (only one port though :damnit: ), has a 1900x1200 touchscreen, and they're coming ...

FZ-G1 Dedicated GPS Problems?

Finally got my hands on a G1, model number is FZ-G1ASK4CCM. It's been an awesome little toughpad so far, (I've only had it for 3 days). Pretty much the only problem I have with it is the dedicated GPS system. I can't get a solid lock on any satellites. I've been testing outside in clear sky conditio...

Re: Delivery Driver ideas?

FZ-Q1 is my suggestion So oddly enough, I found a Toughpad FZ-G1 on eBay for a decent price. The unit looks good, but can someone decode the model number? The old configurator doesn't have it at all, and the official Panasonic configurator brings up models that are too new. The model number is FZ-G...
